We envision a world in which Nigerian women are socially and economically autonomous and are role models and champions of change in their lives and society.
It is our vision that ANWEP becomes a platform in which all Nigerian Women regardless of their ethnic backgrounds (Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Efik, Ijaw etc) come together and start speaking with one voice. We need to start spreading the message of peace and unity in our country while tackling the numerous issues that confront our people especially our women and young girls. Top on our priority list is to provide temporary shelters for victims of domestic violence while providing them counseling services in order to get them back on their feet.
Mentoring is also another critical area that we will be focusing on. We hope to work with our business entrepreneurs and professionals in all areas of discipline to provide direction and financial help to our younger generations in the form of scholarships and/or business loans to help them become socially and economically autonomous.
